With all the features you need -- and no unnecessary complexity to get in your way -- to help you PASS the Ham Radio exams and enter the exciting hobby of Ham Radio!
The test questions in this App are 100% the same as the ones used in the actual FCC Ham Radio exams. If you master these questions, you are ready! The test contains 35 questions for Technician and General, and 50 questions for Amateur Extra.
There are 35 (or 50) different sections or chapters, each providing just one question to the complete exam.
1. COVERS ALL THREE EXAMS: Select which Ham Radio exam you want to study for.
2. TWO WAYS TO PRACTICE: To start out, select "Study Test". This gives you instant grading after each answer. Later on, you can try "Practice Exam" which is more like a dress rehearsal for the real thing.
3. AUTO SAVE: Incoming call? Need a break? Want to turn off your phone? No problem! The App will remember where you left off.
4. INSTANT FEEDBACK: While in "Study Test", you get instant feedback after each answer. It also shows you the correct answer, if you got it wrong.
5. CHECK YOUR PROGRESS: The App keeps track of how you've done in the past on each question. This history is displayed in a bar graph: Green = correct, Red = wrong
6. LOOK OVER THE RESULTS: Once you complete the test, you are taken to a Results page. There you will find: your score, PASS/FAIL status, and your entire exam corrected and marked up by the professor, as it were. You can easily see which questions you got right/wrong, and the correct answers are clearly marked.
7. DISCARD FEATURE: Once you master a question, you don't want to see it again, right? So if you got a question correct the last 2 times you tried it, you can "discard" that question. That means it won't appear in any future Study Tests. It's like putting aside a flash card you've mastered. NOTE: Even discarded questions can appear in Practice Exams, since those are supposed to be just like the real thing. You can view your current collection of "Discarded Qs" from the main Activity menu.
8. ADJUSTABLE TEXT SIZE: You can change the font size to Large or Huge to make everything easier to read on your phone.
9. SECTION PRACTICE: Want to practice just one section (chapter) of the Ham Radio exam question pool? Select "Section Practice" and you can select one of the many sections to review. Each section has an average of 13 questions in it.
