In April 2019, The New York Times applauded Heritage Foods for being “at the forefront of the nonindustrial meat movement.” We are so happy to be referred to in this way because for almost 20 years we have been pushing for an alternative to factory farming — a virtuous meat supply raised and processed by families dedicated to honoring the animals.
The nonindustrial meat movement grows when more heritage meat is consumed in place of commodity meat — as we like to say, you must eat certain foods to save them!
