The Church has been praying the Psalms, privately and corporately, since the very beginning. From the believers in Acts 4 praying Psalm 2, to early monastics reciting the entire Psalter every day, the Psalms infuse Orthodox worship through today.
"Pray the Psalter" offers three ways to include the Psalms in daily prayer:
- Pray the Psalms one-by-one
- Pray the Daily Hours (Psalms assigned to different parts of the day)
- Pray the designated 'kathismata' (or part of one) day-by-day
This psalter uses the text of the King James Version, edited to conform to the Septuagint.

Recent changes:
- Fixed an error when restoring to the Hours or Kathismata screen
Previously in 1.3:
- You can now change font size within the app
- You can now select light or dark mode (or continue to have the app match the device's setting)
- Many other minor fixes & improvements
