You can say... " tell me something wise" , or " read me some poetry", or "tell me a joke", plus some golden nuggets to be discovered as you continue using the app.
SpeakSurf is a Voice Search, Voice Browser app with some unique and original features and improvements over what's currently available. It makes research and standard web browsing more efficient and even more entertaining.
Use your voice or type to search or research anything using multiple search portals/engines with results all displayed simultaneously. This will hopefully speed up search/ research time and provide a customizable browsing experience using multiple browser view windows simultaneously. Other features available on the Browser version are voice recognition and Speech synthesis utterance with customizable voice options.
Also including a Spelling feature and audible searches with a little added personality and some extra features. For example there are certain commands you can issue to SpeakSurf and get a response like " tell me something wise" , or " read me some poetry", or "tell me a joke", plus some golden nuggets to be discovered as you continue using the app.
For the time being, the Android app version does not include Speech Utterance for Spelling and Voice responses to queries, but the Chrome Browser version does include this feature and is readily accessible from within the app. Many more features coming soon. We have more in store for this app.
On first install, after accepting permission request please restart app for it to work properly. Also in any event research function does not work or app freezes please restart. Browser version may be reached by pressing browser button twice. In private browser mode and on certain devices, extra wait time, or a restart is needed if mic permit dialog popup does not appear.
