UTM:Remote Patient Monitoring (UTM:RPM) conveys patient health data metrics, in a HIPAA compliant communication process, to a SAAS managed by the patient’s medical support team. The app communicates (via messages and alerts) to both the patient and medical staff to assist diagnostic support and patient care. Eligible patients (e.g., discharges from emergency care) are enrolled in UTM:RPM by the hospital; each instance of the mobile app is configured for an assigned individual.
The server-side SAAS system compares the data sent from UTM:RPM to baseline measurements of blood pressure, oxygen saturation, pulse, weight, and blood glucose, specific to each individual patient. Questions addressing how the patient feels together with readings from LTE and Bluetooth measurements are transmitted as well to the medical support team.
